My father and I collected this print on the banks of a salmon stream in southeastern Alaska in 1986. We saw the grizzly leave the print, and hastily poured plaster in it. Two juvenile grizzlies followed us when we attempted to retrieve the cast later that day. We succeeded the next morning, after a sleepless night.
